The sun is back in Estonia and we are nicely getting close to the end of this pregnancy. In a bit more than two months we will have to share the new apartment with the boy (we still don’t have a name, so it’s still “the boy” for now).

Pregnancy has been going well until now, although Ingrid starts to feel more uncomfortable. The stomach is nicely big now, it’s not so easy. We have been preparing well for the birth by reading and going to the perekool (family school). The hospital we have chosen supports Active Birth and birth in water.

Active Birth is in some ways trying to make the birth less of medical thing, but more a natural process as it was in the past. Did you know that the lying position is very unnatural and one of the most difficult ones for giving birth? Anyway I think we are getting ready and I hopefully know enough too to be the help Ingrid will need.
