So, everyone is talking about the big thing of the day, except the Skype employees Indeed it was business as usual at Skype, after the announcement we just went back to work, as described also by Ross (which I happened to meet tonight, wow blogging and Skype get me to meet cool people).

But let me just say that I’m very happy and I think this is a really good thing for Skype and eBay. Here there are two companies with great products, great community, open to developers, international, disruptive in their own markets… and I just see a lot of synergies. This is very exciting.

And for Skype, this just doesn’t change things very much. We still want to have a huge impact in the communication world and eBay will simply help us a lot achieving this goal. Indeed, business as usual.
