Some bloggers, mainly in San Francisco region, have been organizing Geek Dinners, which is what it says, geeks meeting in a cafe or a restaurant and having a good time discussing.
I would like to organize one in Tallinn, so if you are there and are interested, leave me a comment or drop an email.

Lenn is noe semi-permanently in Tallinn (but I think you met him already?). Wondering if it would really take a foreigner to organise the first geek dinner in Tallinn

Well I’m not a geek, I’m a wannabee. Someone dropped me in it last year by failing to create a website and during the final two months waiting I learned enough html and css to realise he was clueless… And the more I get into it, the more I’m enjoying it. Bref, maintenant je démarre avec Python. Peut-être d’ici quelques millénaires j’aurai quelques compétences…
Sur un autre post, quelqu’un s’intérroge sur un blog multilingue. Jette un coup d’oeil sur http://www.osmosoft.com/… J’étais en extase. Mais je ne maîtrise pas du tout les questions unicode.
Back to English. I live in Tallinn (pix at viuviu), have been a Fr/Eng translator for years and would be happy to meet and talk computer stuff, altho you’re probably way outta my league!
