Job and country changes
It’s been some time I haven’t posted something, and a lot of things happened in the last weeks, so it’s time for an update.
Main news is that we are leaving Nice and the south of France. My wife Ingrid found a great job in Tallinn, Estonia. She started last week. Myself I signed by Elcoteq in Finland last week. I gave my demission today and I will normally start at my new job in March. I’m very excited about this new challenge.
Ingrid in Estonia and me in Finland means that we will see only in weekends (but every weekends at least). We decided that this little sacrifice was worth it so that we can both start or continue our careers in the best way possible for a bit more time.
Now a lot of work is in front of me to organize the move!
Regarding this blog, I had to deactivate trackbacks due to the apparition of trackback spam. As an alternative, when you comment one of my posts on your blog, just leave me manually a comment with a link.

Just a quick hint: it will only take about 1,5 hours by boat or under 20 minutes by helicopter from Helsinki to Tallinn. Boat trip costs about 20-50 euros (both ways) and helicopter tickets about 50-100 euros depending on day and time. Many Finnish people already live in Tallinn still work in Helsinki area in Finland.
I believe they also offer lower prices for frequent travellers. Of course, it can still get expensive to travel on weekdays, but in theory there’s the possibility.
